About me
Hi, I’m Abbie (she/her), a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker based in Minneapolis. I know what it feels like to have things fall apart in life and the courage it takes to look at your stuff. The good news is you are not alone and you do not have to do this alone.
I believe that healing happens in relationship, and my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can feel understood and empowered. In our work together, I strive to help you build self-awareness, practical skills, and self-compassion to help you remember your strength and worth as you heal and grow.
I often bring psychoeducation into sessions because I’ve found that understanding how the mind and body are connected can be deeply validating and empowering. Together, we can explore tools and practices that help harness that connection—skills you can take with you outside of therapy and into your everyday life.
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, while also drawing from mindfulness, neurobiology, and an anti-oppression framework. I am trained in CBT, ERP, and Mind-Body Fertility, and I’m certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I’ve also completed advanced training through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.
"And, with practice, we can meet whatever comes with clarity and care, with wisdom and compassion. May we imagine and create our future in beauty and joy. Let it be!"
